What is the Parent Infant Program?

PIP is more than just play. We hold bespoke, progressive classes for babies from six weeks to walking, grouped by age so every activity meets your baby where they are.

Our classes are built on something simple: babies learn through movement.

Each class pairs purposeful play with the skills your baby is working on right now, from early rolling and sitting through to crawling and those first steps. Every activity is designed to build strength, balance and body awareness, and to support your baby's primitive reflexes and sensory integration as they develop.

Parents and caregivers join in every step, and you'll leave each class knowing exactly what your baby is working on and how to support it at home. And beyond the big milestones come the quieter wins: bonding, problem-solving, confidence, and those first lovely bursts of social connection.

What PIP Families Say...

Namrata Bindra, 2026

When I had my second, I wanted to go back to PIP so that I could support my second child’s development in a way that was unique to her needs.

...PIP supported me to physically engage my child in a way that I didn’t have the confidence to before. None of the exercises or skills required elaborate set ups or fancy equipment – it was all easily replicable at home. You could liken it to getting a personal trainer at the gym - PIP taught me to be my baby’s trainer. Not only was I learning about my daughter’s development, but I was bonding with her by engaging with her in a very productive way. Every baby is different so when I had my second, I wanted to go back to PIP so that I could support my second child’s development in a way that was unique to her needs. The small class sizes at PIP mean that I get 1:1 time with the instructors during every exercise, so I can make sure that I am addressing my baby’s specific needs and progress. I also loved the community that I found at PIP. We explored and discovered so much about our children together, it really became a bonding experience between the parents as well.

PIP truly helps every baby, no matter their pace.

Both my babies completed the Parent‑Infant Program and benefited immensely. My daughter was advanced in her development, while my son started much slower, yet the program supported them both — it truly helps every baby, no matter their pace. Each week I saw their strength, balance, coordination, and motor skills improve. The classes combine fun exercises, problem‑solving activities, sensory play, and gentle massages, and the teachers are caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to each baby’s growth. The small class sizes allow for individual attention and I loved having activities to continue at home. I’m deeply grateful for what this program has done for my children. It has been one of the best decisions for their early development.

The right pace for meeting their needs.

My 6-week-old and I love our weekly sessions at PIP! It’s a great place to learn how to play and support age-appropriate development in the safety of a class, which can otherwise feel incredibly overwhelming. Saffron’s wealth of knowledge and her nursing background combined with being an experienced mum is extra reassuring. The longer sessions and gentle pace of the class means there’s plenty of time allowed for feeding and nappy changes in amongst all of the supported activities.

So proud

We loved every second of our PIP classes. We did two terms, one with each instructor. They are both incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and gentle with our little baby. Even in the group classes, we got lots of one-to-one instruction time. It’s great to have some focused tasks to play with your baby during the week in-between classes, and I always felt so proud when my baby could show the instructor something that they couldn’t do the week before. My baby made much quicker progress in his motor development while going to the PIP classes!

Transformative for our family!

Joining the Parent Infant Program has been a transformative experience for our family. The supportive environment and resources are outstanding. Saffron and Lisa are welcoming and experienced teachers. The program’s activities have greatly aided our son’s development. Watching him progress from struggling to sit up to confidently rolling over and crawling has been amazing. Each milestone felt like a victory, thanks to the program’s guidance. The tips and techniques have empowered me to support his growth every day. I wholeheartedly recommend the Parent Independent Program to any parent. Thank you, Saffron and Lisa, for this wonderful program!

Amazing Improvement

Thank you so much for the past year of support, guidance and hard work making sure our babies are developing and exploring to their fullest potential. PIP class has been so instrumental in Brandon’s development and curiosity about the world, and we have been privileged to be able to partake in all that as a family. Brandon is now 1 and we can’t believe how far he’s come! Thank you for everything!
